Girl’s nights out are great fun for men. It is a known fact that girls love to get dressed up, strut their stuff and just generally go a bit wild. This pretty much makes women more accessible to men and it’s therefore no wonder your husband has doubts about you going out. It’s most commonly a jealousy thing – your husband wants you all to himself, or, he worries about the dangers of you going out unprotected. Yes, in this modern age, most women are perfectly capable of looking after themselves, but who said chivalry was dead?

Don’t read into this too much, but you need to ease his fears in some way. Come to some kind of compromise, maybe you can agree not to wear that particular dress unless you’re with him, maybe you’ll only go out for a drink with that particular friend etc.
